IE11 is no longer supported in ProForma 8.0+. To use IE11 you will need to use the following combination of ProForma and Jira
Data Centre: ProForma 7.3.x-DC and up to Jira 8.5 / JSD 4.5
Server: ProForma 7.3.x and up to Jira 8.5 / JSD 4.5
Cloud: Not Supported
IE11 Support will only be maintained in ProForma 7.3.x until Jira 8.5 / JSD 4.5 reach their end of support dates (Oct 21, 2021). If you require IE11 compatibility within your organization, ProForma 7.3.x must be used.
If ProForma is unintentionally upgraded to a version later than 7.3.x, steps will need to be taken in order to downgrade and ensure it continues to run on IE11.
This applies only to Jira Server and Jira Data Center. Jira Cloud support for IE11 will be retired completely at the end of March 2020.
Note that all existing PLAIN FORM data will be safe during your downgrade. Form templates and forms on issues are saved within your Jira instance, and are not deleted when ProForma is uninstalled. When you reinstall the 7.3.x version of ProForma, the templates and data you need will still be there.
However, any ADF forms create using ProForma 8.x will not be usable once you have downgraded to 7.3.x.
Download the previous version of ProForma or ProForma Lite on the Atlassian Marketplace (alternatively, right-click on the Download link to your clipboard):
Expand the entry for the desired ProForma version. Click Download to get the .obr file.
In Jira administration, navigate to the Manage Apps screen. Find the entry for ProForma or ProForma Lite.
Uninstall ProForma (or ProForma Lite).
Scroll to the top of the Manage Apps screen and click the Upload App link.
A popup will appear. Click Choose file and select the .obr file you downloaded earlier.
Alternatively, if you copied the Download link, paste it into text box labeled From this URL.
Click Upload. After a few minutes the upload will complete, and the 7.3.x version of ProForma will be installed.
