Analytics

By default, ProForma captures anonymous usage analytics from all users, both in Cloud and in Server as follows:

Information captured if analytics are enabled

  • Names of forms

  • Interactions with elements in the app (adding forms to an issue, adding question types in the form builder, formatting options, etc.)

Information ProForma never captures

  • Personal information, such as account names, email addresses or other user information.

  • IP Address

  • Form contents: Both the written responses and the questions on the form themselves

  • Personal information contained in the URL of the page.

We use analytics data to better understand which ProForma features are most frequently used,  and how we can make improve our product. A hashed account id is used to identify individual users. This ID does not contain personally identifiable information.

In order to ensure transparency, all of our analytics data is captured through the browser, so that you can verify for yourself that we are only collecting what we say we collect. A sample of the analytics data is available below. All of our analytics data is captured via analytics.thinktilt.net

See our Privacy Policy for more information.

Messaging Platform

By default, ProForma incorporates the third-party tools Intercom and Beamer to assist with communicating with Project and Jira administrators (Users) (but not standard Jira users, or public users via the JSM portal). These tools allow for the delivery of the ProForma on-boarding process and for sharing product updates to Users. We also use Intercom as our email messaging platform. By default, we provide Intercom and Beamer with the same limited Analytics information as outlined on this page (such as sign-up date and a non identifiable ID). We also utilize these tools to collect data for analytics purposes when Users visit our website or use our product. As data processes acting on our behalf, Intercom and Beamer analyze the use of our website and/or product and tracks the relationship of Users by way of cookies and similar technologies so that we can improve our service to our Users. For more information on Intercom's use of cookies, please visit https://www.intercom.com/terms-and-policies#cookie-policy and https://www.getbeamer.com/privacy-policy.

We may also use Intercom and Beamer as mediums for communications, either through email, or through messages within our product(s). The Intercom Messenger Apps and Apps in Inbox products may also provide Users with access to other third party applications such as StatusPage. Users should consult these third parties' privacy notices for further information on their use of your personal data. As part of our service agreements, if a User provides their email address to us, Intercom will collect publicly available contact and social information related to Users. Such information may include company, job title, photos, website URLs, social network handles and physical addresses, to enhance the User’s experience. For more information on the privacy practices of Intercom, please visit https://www.intercom.com/terms-and-policies#privacy. Intercom’s services are governed by Intercom’s terms of use which can be found at https://www.intercom.com/terms-and-policies#terms.
